RANGER ALLI PRIORITIES AREAS
Ranger Alli's has identified four key priorities to focus on while working to get more people partyin' outside. Each priority area is highlighted during a national observance day by Ranger Alli. (Typically with some type of outside party.)

Community is the foundation to a successful and healthy society. We believe convening community, can refer to our general community as human beings, to communities which relate to identities, and groups of people who just hang out sometimes. Convening with shared joy and belonging is the first step a successful outside party.
It is a fact that our great outdoors, our green spaces, the deep dark blues, and the fragile ecosystems they sustain are at high risk of collapse as a result global warming. Ranger Alli is not going to stop climate change, but we can find creative ways to mitigate the damage already done and to prevent exacerbating the problem, implementing strengthening our commitment to conservation even when out on our own adventures!

I'll never forget the almost frantic call from my mother, almost begging me not to go to Pride that morning. But I knew I had to. less than 12 hour earlier, a gunman wreaked havoc inside of Orlando Gay Club which was hosting a Latinx Pride celebration. 47 individuals were murdered that night, at the time the largest mass shooting in American history. Just like we couldn't stay home that morning from Pride, we can't forget this history and we must continue to advocate for the Queer Community's liberation, as well as educate our allies how they can best support our movement and cause.
Lasting Liberation is unique as each of Ranger Alli's other strategies must incorporate this mindset if they are to be successful in their own right. Liberation is two steps past equality. It's no longer about finding accommodations to get around a barrier, it's about dismantling the barrier in such a permanent fashion that it can not return. We must always be striving to ensure that all communities are liberated in such a way as to have unhindered access to advocacy and education, to convening community, and to conservation and adventure. No party, outside or not, is worth having if everyone can't be there.

As an organization, we know that the greatest demonstration of what we stand for, who we want to work with, and who we are is seen in the Camp Ranger, Park Rangers, Forestry Rangers, the myriad of other types of rangers scattered across the globe. So when we think about our values, we think of the ever valiant R.A.N.G.E.R.
