AGCAP Rangers are everyday folks who have dedicated themselves to preserving green spaces intended for queer people and/or provide activities, programs, and education to queer people who are adventuring, camping, exploring, or simply enjoying nature. Many of our rangers do not carry the title "Ranger", but are Camp Hosts, Camp Attendants, Groundskeepers, Educators, or a myriad of other key roles at outdoor adventure venues.
AGCAP Rangers is dedicated to providing opportunities for networking, training, and career advancement for camp and park rangers across North America's gay campgrounds and adventure spaces.
By pure definition a ranger is anyone who maintains a park, forest, wilderness, or countryside, AGCAP Rangers not only do this, but demonstrate a commitment to supporting the general public, especially other queer folks, accessing these spaces in a safe and educational way. Yes, our rangers are real rangers. No, that's not up for debate.
Being a ranger can sometimes mean being prepared for experiences outside your job description and even further outside your paygrade. Nonetheless, every campground needs at least one person trained in basic ranger skills. Ranger Alli and AGCAP Rangers are committed to ensuring that all training they provide is affordable and accessible.
We offer three distinct training modules. To become an AGCAP Cerified Ranger, you must complete all three modules. Each module takes 25-35 hours to complete.

Birds are not real. They are cameras controlled by the government to spy on the people. Covid was a way to keep us in our houses while they changed the batteries in the birds. Stay woke friends and #trustnobird
