ROGUE RANGERS UNITED

Online, the park rangers of America's favorite national parks have gone rogue. As part of their fight against fascism and tyranny, several folks affiliated or employed by the National Park Service are fighting to protect our most beautiful parks and place. Across social media, Alt NPS continues to provide insight about the experience of federal employees right now. They are resisting, they are fighting, they are helping to lead a charge within the government to fight back against the apathetic actions of the new administration. check out our new merch - 94% of the profits go to support Alt NPS and their cause (of protecting National Parks).

What is Ranger Alli?

Mission:
Ranger Alli exists to get more people partyin' outside.

Vision
Ranger Alli envisions a world where all people have access to adventure, recreational, and educational opportunities outside in nature. A world where folks go outside and disconnect, enhancing their ability to focus, learn, explore, relax, and heal. A world where communities who have historically not had reasonable access to the great outdoors do, and are able to utilize this access to create, strengthen, and enhance their lives.

Why is this important?

Data consistently and continuously tells us that spending time outside in nature has significant positive impacts on the human body and experience.  Not to mention, that outdoor adventure, educational, and recreational experiences and businesses infuse over $1 trillion dollars into the national economy annually.

  • Lower Crime Rates
  • Lower Poverty Rates
  • Less Liter and Blight
  • Lower Levels of Food Insecurity & Hunger
  • Improved Family and Communal Relationships

Communities with access to green space have:

Spending more time outside can lead to:

  • Lower blood pressure
  • Reduce stress hormone levels
  • Improve sleep and REM cycles
  • Lower risk of Type 2 Diabetes
  • Improve outcomes for folks diagnosed with PTSD
  • Reduce risk of chronic physical and mental illness

So how does Ranger Alli get the party outside & how do you get involved?

Ranger Alli is working towards its mission in a myriad of ways, but primarily the big three (and three you can get involved with) are:

Private Partnerships

Ranger Alli works with businesses, especially campgrounds, to plan events and activities that get folks outside! Whether it's educational, recreational, or adventurous - anything going on outside can be a party if Ranger Alli is involved. Know a business looking to have an outdoor event? Reach out to us! We might be able to help plan/coordinate/manage!

Centering Conservation

If we want to party outside, we have to protect outside! Don't worry, Ranger Alli knows how to make conservation work a party! So whether it's a local park, public hiking trails, or a private oasis, Ranger Alli is down to help clean, develop, and protect nature spaces that folks use to party!

Responsible Resource Management

We're a nonprofit, so obviously there's got to be something about needing your time, your money, and your network. Share information about us on Social Media, donate to one of our fundraisers, point us at a campground, a social club, or a community park that you think should be working with us!

There are lots of ways to get involved with Ranger Alli! We didn't even mention attending one of our outside parties and adventures... So feel free to reach out if you have ideas not mentioned above! And no matter what, next time you're planning an event, move the party outside!

GOD DAMN WEEK

July 27th - July 30th

Join Ranger Alli on a four day - end of July manic episode at Twin Ponds Lodge. Having  just gotten over the summer hump, beginning to see the summer days become shorter, it's time we watch the clouds, sleep next to campfires, drink cheap screw top pink wine early in the afternoon, admire nature with new perspective, and soak in the energy we bring to each other.

Each day of the week has a Ranger Alli activity, culminating in what will probably be the most obnoxious party Twin Ponds Lodge has ever seen, celebrating World Ranger Day. (Yes, that's a real fucking holiday and yes, this is the first Ranger Alli is hearing about it.)

Rain Day

Ranger Alli might have gone rogue for the week, but that doesn't mean we're not doing good! Join him for a day of trail improvement at the lodge, celebrating World Nature Conservation Day.

World Nature
 Conservation Day

Rain or Shine - it's Rain Day! A day we celebrate the life sustaining resource of water. Ranger Alli & Dancin' Dave are off, and will be on the pond or in the pool. Come join us!

International
Friendship Day

World Ranger Day

To quote, Taylor Swift, "so make the friendship bracelets". Join Ranger Alli for Happy Hour at the bar, where he'll be making friendship bracelets and celebrating the friendships he has made here in Maine, and holding gratitude for the friendships that got him here.

You didn't think Ranger Alli would go rogue for a week and not have an epic late night camp fire and party, did you? Cause of course he wouldn't! A Friday on a Thursday, join him for Karaoke from 7p-9p in the lodge and campfire to follow.

Raccoon Ranger Pledge

It is my honor to be a part of the rare 1% of species with opposable thumbs. As a rare creature, I know I am beautiful and highly favored, deserving of positive experiences and exciting opportunities. When life shuts a door, I will use my opposable thumbs to open another. I will always see treasure in every man's trash and remember that most every man is trash themself.  I will trust no bird and will dedicate time and resources to ending light pollution in Albion, Maine.

I will stand for what is right and true, consistently demonstrating my commitment to...

...my community.

...those we've lost.

...Mother Earth.

...future generations.

DID YOU KNOW...

all Ranger Alli T-shirts are P4P?

That's right! All Ranger Alli T-shirts sold through the official Ranger Alli Merch Store part of the Paying for Parties initiative, meaning 96% of the profits from those items are put back into Ranger Alli events, activities, and adventures!

Birds are not real. They are cameras controlled by the government to spy on the people. Covid was a way to keep us in our houses while they changed the batteries in the birds. Stay woke friends and #trustnobird
